On Thursday evening, November 13, 2008, the seminarians and their wives from the Diocese of Los Angeles and the West joined the seminarians and their wives from throughout the Archdiocese at the Annual Seminarian Dinner hosted by His Eminence, Metropolitan PHILIP at the Archdiocese Headquarters in Englewood, New Jersey.

The evening begin with His Eminence presiding over Great Vespers for the Feast of the Apostle Philip, His Eminence's Patronal Feast Day, in St. John Chrysostom Chapel. Following the service, His Eminence blessed the food and dinner was served. The seminarians were treated to delicious Middle Eastern Cuisine. Following dinner, His Eminence addressed the group thanking them for making the commitment to the ministry and highlighting important points about the Archdiocese.

We are most grateful to His Eminence for opening his home that evening. We are also grateful to His Grace, Bishop ANTOUN, Father George Kevorkian, Archdeacon Hans El-Hayek, Deacon Charles Baz, and Kathy Meyer, for their loving and gracious hospitality.
