Welcome to the revamped www.antiochianladiocese.org! This has been our Diocese’s main tool in reporting and chronicling her holy life through the countless photos, articles, and audio and video recordings. This upgrade and brand new look are in appreciation of all the daily visitors who make the Website so successful. We now offer a cleaner design with better navigation; photo galleries in slideshow format; more detailed parish listings with easier sorting; a growing Service Texts section that will include additional resources for Great Lent; and much more.
The continued success of www.antiochianladiocese.org depends on each and every one of us. I strongly encourage you to tell your parishes, family and friends about the re-launch. Do not wait for someone else to provide valuable input that would help the website grow. Please share your thoughts with the Webmaster. May God continue to bless this ministry and our collective, creative efforts to let it shine our witness to Jesus Christ our Lord throughout the entire world.
Yours in Christ,
Bishop of Los Angeles and the West
Beloved in Christ:
It is with great joy that I welcome you on behalf of the Diocesan Website Committee to the new antiochianladiocese.org. We sincerely hope that this new look, along with the new features, will make your viewing experience of this site more beneficial. The process of developing the new site began in July of 2008. Since then hundreds of hours have been spent transferring data from the old site to this new site. While every effort was made to accurately transfer the material, errors may have been made. If you see something that does not seem correct, please email me at email@example.com and I will look into it right away. We are in need of your help in making this site the best possible resource for all. I would also ask the pastors to take a moment and check their parish page for accuracy of the information, especially the weekly service schedule. We also look to all of you for suggestions on how we can make this site an even greater resource.
I would like to personally thank the members of the Website Committee for their tireless efforts to make this new site possible, namely, Deacon Andrew Andrews, Deacon Maxime Najim, Subdeacon Peter Samore and Reader Michael Haddad. I would also like to thank Father John Parsells from Orthodox Web Solutions, our new hosting company, for his labor in helping us to establish the new site.
With gratefulness to God, we the members of the Website Committee, offer this new look to you, our visitors, for the glory of God.
Yours in Christ,
